“My Star has been restored and Malyn’s soul has been consigned to Oblivion. You have done well, mortal. As was destined, you are free to use my Star as you see fit. Farewell, mortal. Know that Azura is guarding over the threads of your fate in the Twilight.”
I blinked my eyes open. I was back in the real world, in Skyrim. “Are you okay?” asked Erik. Both he and Marcurio stood ready for combat at my word. I nodded reassuringly. Once convinced that I was well, they eased back a little but kept a sharp eye on the Priestess just in case I disappeared again.
“While you were in the Star, Azura gave me a vision,” said the Priestess once the boys had calmed down. “Her last, she said.” She hesitated for a moment as she turned to face me. “I have not been without Azura’s foresight since leaving Morrowind,” she said quietly. “If you ever need my help, I will be here tending to Azura’s Shrine. Twilight watch over you, Guardian.”
I bade her goodbye, making a mental note to check up on the Priestess the next time I found my way back to Winterhold.
